I LOVED working with Frans. Every time he came to Provo he always brought chocolates. He was in Provo for a 10 year party. A hypnotist did a skit about 'Midnight Madness'. It was supposed to be a very strong perfume. He and I made countless jokes about Midnight Madness for many years after this skit. I remember Frans buying car parts and taking them home in his luggage. He loved Utah. He and Tom Kenworthy and others would jump in a car and spend all weekend seeing places. He has seen places in Utah that I have not seen. He was an amazing co-worker who would help me at all hours of the day and night.. But even more, he was a dear friend. More than one tear has fallen in his absence. I will dearly miss him. I hope his sweet wife knows how much so many people love him and will miss him.
