Some remember him by his famous smile
Everyone was fond of his smile
Behind the veil of the smile was a brainy mentor
To some teacher and others supervisor
He scaled down to everyone’s level
His stature was above most
Yet, he was a colleague and friend to most
He was a scholarship immortal among the living
Close to him was his students
Time was no obstacle to him
Even miles away – he virtually connected
Never busy for his own
Yet, his stature was admired among his peers
Many admired him
But beyond his admiration is the immortal legacy
Was is not part of his identity
He remains alive in our hearts, lives and discourses, every day for ever
His work will speak to us every day and tomorrow
Immortal legacy
His work inside and outside the library walls immortalizes him
We shall speak, think and write his name
It remains in the tablets of scholarship
Fons the immortal lives in our scholarship for ever
While his Soul Rests in Eternal Peace,
he actively lives in our scholarship and memory
