Reading through these memories there is such a common pattern. Fun, family, friendship, happiness, all these words I think of when I think of lovely Fiona.
I first met Fiona as a neighbour when we both lived in Germany 31 years ago, the last of those years has seemed the longest knowing that Fiona is no longer here any more. The fun we had back then .... more often than not instigated by Fiona!
We met up a few times over the years either when we visited her or she was here in Bristol. On some occasions it was just a coffee before she flew back home on the return flight with Ella. I wouldn’t have missed one of those meetings, we always had so much to chat about and, as usual, so much to laugh about.
I remember sitting, watching her at her 60th birthday party and thinking what a fabulous time she was having surrounded by her wonderful family. Fiona always made every room light up but that night she was so happy and made the whole room glow.
My condolences to all of Fiona’s family, especially Rich, Mike and John.
