Her true joy was her students and everything she did in her career was done with them in the forefront of her mind. We have created this page for students to leave their memories or condolences. We all miss Erika as our dear friend, mentor, and Director, and she will forever be in our hearts and minds.

I got a lot of help from Erika. It went back to 2013. I had visa issue at that time. I wrote to her and she helped a lot. Later I didn't came to FIT due to late visa issue. She helped me to inform registrar to postpone my study for one year. Another big favor from her was happened last year when I couldn't attend Parsons master degree program. She helped me to register for FIT FBM 1 year program within 3 days to save my student status. I can not say by words how gratefulness I felt. Still remember one year she gave us free tickets to visit The Dessoff Choirs. I was so impressive to the performance. She showed her enthusiasm to both her job and life. Always be kind and helpful. She is so special can never be forgotten. Thank you to God to give me the happy time with Erika ever.
