Emma Stone

March 30, 1980 - May 3, 2023

Our great friend and colleague Emma Stone has sadly passed away, she was loved and deeply respected by many of us in the UK business and beyond. Her presence will be greatly missed by everyone who had the privilege of working alongside her. We are sure that you have many personal memories, stories and anecdotes of Emma as a friend and colleague. For us to remember and to share with her friends and family we have created an online remembrance book for you to add your messages and photographs.

The first major project I worked on when I joined bp was delivering "Fuel Your Adventure", a marketing campaign in partnership with Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Emma and I worked closely on it, delivering forecourt POS, website, scratchcards, digital downloads and an online game. It was a fantastic project to be part of, and I loved working with Emma on it. A few months later, Emma went to (I think) Universal Studios and send me this picture of her & Cole at the Jurassic Park ride.

It's taken me a little while to know what to say. I have too many happy memories from coming to visit you when you lived in Northampton to our "work" chats putting the world to rights. Even remembering the support you gave to the Good Loaf in their early days and finding the little outfit you bought for Riley when he was tiny. I will miss you so much... To say it came as a shock is an understatement to say the least. I hope you are resting, free from pain and smiling as always down on us (sometimes with a knowing laugh). I am lucky to have been able to call you a friend. You will forever be in my heart Em xxx
