Mami, (as you were fondly called while we were young). You were not just a great mother but a worthy custodian of the gifts (children) God blessed you with. You were indeed a priceless gem. A very strong woman who instilled discipline in us and ensured we were all taught of the Lord, supporting us in every way you could.
Proverbs 31:10-31 aptly describes your personality. You were indeed a virtuous woman clothed with strength and dignity. Very hard working and industrious. Your nuclear family and the entire household were your priority. This includes everyone that lived with you at different times (and there were a lot of them). You made the house a home for all. Everyone that associated with you always had positive things to say about you.
It pleases the Lord to take you to himself at this time. We find solace and confidence in that you knew the Lord as your personal Lord and saviour while you lived. We will always remember and think of those things that are true, honest, just, pure, lovely and of good report (Philippians 4:8) which you taught us and which we know about you.
You are, and will be greatly missed. Continue to rest in the bosom of the Lord till the resurrection morning. We love you but God loves you more.
