Prince Edem Bassey

February 5, 1958 - March 4, 2024

Prince Edem Ekpo Bassey was born on February 5th, 1958, and sadly passed away on March 4th, 2024, peacefully in his sleep. He dedicated 35 years of his life to serving his community as a retired Dsp. Known for his kind, funny, and loving nature, he left a lasting impression on all who knew him. His intelligence shone through in all he did, and he had a passion for singing and reading, finding solace in his favorite hymn, "All Must Be Well." His life was guided by the principle encapsulated in his favorite quote: "I expect to pass through this world but once. Any good therefore that I can do or any kindness that I can show to any fellow creature, let me do it now… For I shall not pass this way again." He is survived by his loving wife, daughter, and son, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and wisdom.

Hi Chioma, So sorry about the painful exit of your dad. You’re a strong girl, you are doing well. I was in your shoes 4years and I’m sure you’d get through this. Pray for strength and comfort for you and your family. Stay strong. ❤️
