This passing has come with such shock that one is bereft of what expression can capture the feeling. Uwa was a brother, a friend, a confidant and most formidable professional colleague. Our conversation two weeks ago never gave an inkling of this rude shock. Yet one must bow to the will of God in whose bosom you now rest. However be rest assured that your indelible contributions in the annals of the art community cannot be erased. My sincere condolences to the immediate family. Rest on brother. Adieu.
