Growing up we would go over to Grams house in Virginia Beach and she would teach us how to play poker using M&Ms, make us sandwiches always cut in half and always with a pickle on the side, we would watch hours of Lassie, Mr.ED, and the News (Grams loved the news). I loved going over to Grams house it was such a treat and highlight of my childhood.

When Grams moved to West Virginia to live with Cathy (my mom) her and I would play Rummy for hours, days, and then weeks. We had a running score card, we were both so competitive and stubborn; neither one of us wanted to stop playing and accept defeat. We would play, eat chocolate, and just chat! I will always hold those memories and moments with me.
