Devendra Nath Azad

October 10, 1933 - July 30, 2022

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Devendra Nath Azad on Saturday 30th July 2022. His imagination, his never say no spirit, his respect for everyone and love for all humans was just a few of the qualities that made him a role model in our community. He may have left this earth, but his legacy will live through all of us and the beautiful memories he created.

Azad ji was a very special person in my career. I had the good fortune to work with him in Carbon Black factory and Thai Polyphosphate company. Both were grass root projects and were successfully completed and commissioned in record time under his technical and leadership guidance. Despite being my boss, he was more like a friend . Starting with Nangal project in India ( where my eldest Brother was also working, ) Azad ji distinguished himself as a perfect Project man. Words are failing to describe his noble personality. May God grant him Moksh.
