Derek lived a short and powerful life that touched the hearts of so many. He loved his dog Darby and his family. He had a passion for his connections with others, cool self edge fashion, unique tennis shoes, skateboarding, travel, Dredge music, travel, sushi and mexican food, warcraft video game, the Earthquake and Chelsea soccer team, 49ers and the Giants and technology. Loved to laugh and had the greatest smile. The kindest young man in the entire world. One of his best friends, Dom, created the saying, "What Would Derek Do?" WWDD.
