Growing up and being around Derek he had tons influence on myself as kid. Growing up I never had a big brother or any siblings. He was the biggest sports nut I knew.i always got a kick on how much he knew about sports. I wanted to be just like my cousin growing up and the one thing he has taught me through life is. That it is ok to be an independent individual and to have self expression. He had a unique sense of style with the best laugh. He has touched many hearts of so many people and he will forever have a place in mine. He is truely one of a kid.
