Denise Van Dyke - our friend and coworker at the Mid-Willamette Valley Council of Governments for 26 years - passed away Monday afternoon in a tragic accident. Denise was a wonderful person, very kind and good hearted, had a infectious laugh and great sense of humor and could always be counted on. We are tremendously saddened by her passing. We invite those who knew Denise to share a memory or note of condolence. We will share your messages with Denise's mother.

Denise was the glue that held the COG together as staff changed, she remained a constant face for those of us interacting with the COG in a variety of ways. Whether nominating someone for an award, working on a project or scheduling a meeting, she was the "face" of the COG. She will be greatly missed.
