To David's family - I was saddened to hear about David. He was an inspiration to me, a wonderful combination of being an educationalist, a psychologist, a pioneer and strong advocate for young children. I have fond memories of reading his book on my holiday and being totally consumed in his wise words and research - it all made such sense. I talk about his work a lot with others and have made strong reference to his work in my writings. I will continue to do so and direct eveyone to his work - such a strong legacy for all of us.
