It was with sadness I heard about David's death today. As one of the early cohorts of BA in Education Studies students at Homerton College I was lucky enough to benefit from his lectures and supervisions in the Psychology of Education. His teaching, and that of his colleagues, inspired me to have a longstanding interest in the subject and a related career. My condolences to his family and colleagues.
