Dear Linda, Lizzie and Sarah. I am deeply saddened to hear about David's passing and offer sincerest condolences. I would never forget the first time I saw David. It was in the faculty. I was chatting with my friend who was going to offer a lecture for undergraduates for the first time. David was just passing by but he noticed my friend was feeling a bit nervous so he stopped to cheer her up. I never had the fortune to know David better but I would never forget his warm smile and his kindness to people around him and people who he never met before. He left a great legacy for everyone and he will be deeply missed.
