My deepest condolences to David's family and friends. This is such an incredible loss. David was the most authentic and genuine person that I have ever known. Through his teachings and actions he taught me more about indigenous relations, leadership and the wilderness than any other class or experience. I will forever be grateful for the time that I spent with David at the wilderness retreat and subsequent retreats that I volunteered for, it was truly transformational. I cherished every moment that I was able to spend with him and he will always have a place in my heart for David. All my relations.
