Darren and I met young and had many fun years together. I will never forget the fun times we had with Lydia, Paddy, Mick, Rachael, Mairead and Dave. From my jet skiiing with Lydia and Paddy to the late night poker games to the dancing in Dorchester with Lydia and Mairead - they will always be some of my most treasured memories. We had 2 beautiful sons and while things did not work out, we were able to move past it and support each other. There were days he drove me crazy and vice versa, but the beauty was we always forgave and fell back into our rhythm as supporting parents.
Darren and Sarah were always welcome at our home and my Darren and my husband formed a long lasting relationship. I learned after his passing, Darren and Sean shared many confidential life moments between them... that made me so happy. He always supported Sean as the boys' stepfather and was incredibly loyal to our family. He was so sweet to our son, Wyatt and always gave him hugs and teased him when he came over to see the boys. Lastly, if you knew Darren - you knew his sons were everything to him and he was incredibly proud of them. His phone contacts for them were "My Kenneth" and "My Jesse".
Darren: It breaks my heart to know you will never be Papa one day, but you will ALWAYS be in our thoughts for every milestone our boys have in the future. We ALL will miss you dearly. Rest in peace Darren.
