It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden death of Darren Lee, AKA Stretch (South Boston), born in Dublin, Ireland who passed away on August 25, 2021, at age of 47, leaving his two loving children Kenneth and Jesse, and their Mom, Shannon. Treasured by his parents Kenneth and Ann. Sadly missed by wife Sarah and step-daughter Sophie, and his brothers Kenneth, Patrick, and Michael; sisters-in-law Lydia and Kate, nieces Laura, Erica, and Aine, nephews Kenneth & Michael, and extended family and friends. A viewing will be held on Monday, August 30th, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Casper Funeral Home, (187 Dorchester Street, Boston, Massachusetts 02127).

    Darren was a great son, a beloved father, a husband, a caring brother and so much more. He flew to South Boston to start a new life in 1993. He, along with his brother Patrick, encountered some amazing people on their travel from all counties of Ireland, Scotland, and America. Darren was a great father who loved his two sons dearly. They were his life and he was the proudest father. Darren was funny, caring, loyal and a good man. He was the life of the party wherever he went making everyone laugh. Darren was an accomplished basketball player and a minor A footballer who won the championship in 1991 and the U21 A championship in 1992. Darren was a great guy who would do anything for you and will be in and hearts and memories forever.
