Daniel Carmody

February 17, 1986 - January 2, 2021

Cherished husband of Ciara and adoring father of Abbey. Much loved son of John and Diane, and son-in-law of John and Teresa Donnelly. Loved brother of Kat and Jane, brother-in-law of David and uncle of Elliot. Our families in Australia and Ireland, and Daniel’s wide circle of friends, are devastated by his sudden death. Daniel loved people and lived life to the max. He had boundless energy and inspired many. He loved maths and finance and his football clubs - Uni Blues, UTS Bats and Richmond Tigers. Daniel deeply loved his family and friends. We loved him in return. Precious memories are etched forever in our hearts.

I met Dan through a mutual mate and managed to convince him to come to a few Swans games and eventually even forced him into a Swans membership one year while living in Sydney (although he always made sure everyone knew he was a proud Tigers fan). My memories of Dan are filled with hilarious banter and a constant positive/ optimistic demeanour. It was a pleasure to have crossed paths with Dan and my love and heartfelt condolences go out to all who loved him especially his family and wife and little girl. Sending all my strength at this devastating time. Much love.
