My sincerest condolences to Mrs Carole Rice, Jenny, Zoe and Danni.
Mr Rice is a legend and an inspirational force to those who were fortunate to have been in Fayrer House during his tenure. Almost every memory of life at Fayrer house when reminisced by the Fayrer old boys includes a story with Mr Rice. It is impossible for anyone from my generation to think about life at Epsom College as a pupil without thinking about Mr Rice, his influence, guidance, mentorship and his dedication to Fayrer and to Epsom College. He will be missed but always celebrated and never forgotten. With 4 of my family members passing through Epsom College (brother, nephew, niece), 3 of us were in Fayrer house under 3 housemasters, Mr Rice, Mr Williams and Mr Head. The Fayrer ethos has always been consistent and is part of Mr Rice’s legacy.
