I knew Craig partly from parent/teacher exchanges over the last two years but mainly through the stories my son would bring home. A "Mr Prior said..." joke or tale was always welcome at the dinner table. He was a marvellously engaged and inspiring teacher as well as a caring person who built a great rapport with his students. Last week, as our whole family reeled from the devastating news of his loss, my daughter described him as an "iconic" teacher. I couldn't agree more.
My heartfelt condolences go out to Craig's family, friends and the entire school community.
