My brother remembers
In year 7 at the first end of term party with him, Mr Prior and the class played jeopardy. I remember when he told us his favourite song. He didn't know the name, just that the chorus went "its all about the bass, bout that bass". We were all very confused. He then proceeded to explain the joke. "When calculating the area of a triangle, you need to know what the BASE is!" At the end of year 7, after class, he asked me to stay back 5 minutes. He told me that I didn't quite make it into the S or X classes. Then sensing my disappointment, he told me that even though my grades didn't show it, he had put in good word in the Maths staffroom, and that he expected good things. I don't like to think that he will never see those great things. He will be missed
