Dear Costi, I had the privilege of being your student and to be taught to think critically in a way that no other professor of mine challenged me before. I was fortunate enough to have seen the great value in your lessons and let you know of it before you passed. I was also fortunate to have crossed from calling you "Sir" and "Mr. Vezerides" to just calling you Costi and having deep and meaningful discussions with you on a person-to-person level and not just as a professor whenever we met at ACT, and kept on learning from conversations with you because of your great mind and extremely insightful way of thinking, as well as your on-point humor. I am glad that you have positively impacted so many lives including mine, both as an educator and as a human, and that such a mind did not go to waste but instead gave back to humanity in a tremendous way. I like to hope that you felt that fulfillment as well and did not leave with regrets. Rest in Peace.
