Being a granny means being there for the birth of your grandchild and mum always said it was a privilege to be at Danny's birth and she was there immediately after Maia, she would have been in then as well but couldn't for a C-sec, but she was there for first baths, and all the special moments. We will treasure these photos all our lives.

Getting the bird - mum was a proud 'lollipop' lady and probably got the most Xmas presents in the whole school from the kids she crossed. The kids loved her and she did that job with real love. I just found this on her computer. :)

My favourite memory of her is from 25 years ago in Great Ponton where Catriona lives. My brother James & Christine we’re walking back arm in arm, singing loudly, from a late night boozy event at the old village hall. They stumbled, fell to the floor - then Christine shouted out “don’t worry I haven’t spilt a drop of my red wine” - she had Olympic athlete reflexes! RIP Christine, love from Suzanne & Will
