Christian Hoppe left us on Wednesday 11 May after a short sudden illness. He left behind Susanne his wife and two sons Lukas and Christoph. Christian lived in Hamburg, Germany and was part of the Shell Trading and Supply Operations team, in which he was leading a global team looking after Product Quality, Claims and Global Inspection Contract. Christian would always be remembered as a great man, fully dedicated to his family and work, and will be dearly missed by all of his friends, colleagues and staff.

So sad to hear of this tragic news. I worked with Christian several times throughout our respective careers and always found him to be a bright, cheerful person who would go the "extra mile" to share ideas and help to resolve issues. A great guy taken from us far too early.
