Christian and I worked together for 6 years when we were both part of Rhine Supply then again for almost two years in his PQ/claims role. I always valued his good business judgment and ability to build relationships with a variety of people in both the outside world and Shell. His own unique sense of humor was always ready to lighten a moment or simply provide a quick bit of entertainment to add interest to the conversation. This was particularly true in his coordination role with GSAP implementation (something for which he probably never forgave me!) He was certainly one of a kind, and we are much poorer for having lost him.
