So shocked and saddened to hear the news of Chris's passing. I can honestly say that throughout my entire career, my best moments were working alongside Chris within the community safety department. As a manager, Chris always 'had my back' and demonstrated all the best qualities of a leader, such attributes that clearly reflected in his personal life. Whilst the Fire & Rescue Service have been denied a truly aspirational person who would have reached the highest within his career, my sincere thoughts and condolences are with his family at this sad time.
