I only just learnt of Charles’ passing and my thoughts are with Jane and their family and friends. When we were starting out, Charles took a gamble on working with us. We were still in university and had a lot to learn, but Charles was generous enough to put his trust in us. Charles was the much loved husband of Jane Christian. A former barrister, Charles was an award winning journalist, podcaster and weird tales storyteller. He founded the Orange Rag legal technology publication in 1995, becoming the earliest authority on the subject. Charles will be remembered by so many people for his acerbic wit, his journalistic fearlessness, and his kindness to people who reached out to him for help and advice.
