Cathy was always looking for the fun aspect in life, even though we knew she was in pain every day, she did not let that show, and always showed interest in what you were saying. She had a mischievous sense of humour, but got away with it, because she would look me straight in the face, with that innocent look and say' Jane I never did that', we shared many laughs and I am grateful for that. She will certainly be missed by me and many others xx

Cathy was so kind and caring, she was a work mum. Cathy would stop whatever she was doing to help. She took me under her wing when i first started and sitting beside her in the office brought me so much confidence. her jokes and witty humour cheered you up no end. We both looked after each other in the office. Will miss her loads but will always remember the funny, happy times we had. Lots of love.

Cathy was warm, kind and friendly and a joy to have around you in the Repayment Recoveries Department. She was also an extremely hard-working, knowledgeable colleague who could and would assist you in any aspect of repayment recoveries. No problem was too big for her. She was always there for you whether you needed advice about work, about any issues you had or if you just wanted a friendly chat. She loved to talk about her son, Liam whom she just adored. I really wish her family my sincere condolences and to tell them that I thought their wife/mother was a fabulous person. She will be missed by me and her many, many friends and colleagues in the Repayment Recoveries Department.

Cathy was a very close family friend, and my mum's best friend. Cathy also encouraged and supported me throughout my entire college application process and when I first started working as an outsourcer at SLC, and finally when I began working at SLC earlier this year - she always provided the best advice on what to say and how to say it! Cathy will be missed hugely both at SLC and at home by both friends and family, and of course her son Liam. I've known Cathy as far back as I can remember and I'm saddened greatly by her passing, I am lucky to have many happy memories with Cathy as I grew up.

Couldn't have met a nicer person. Always happy to help and give advice whenever I needed it. Will be sorely missed.
