Mr Plant had an absolutely brilliant sense of humour with staff and children. Without fail he would always get involved with themes - we know about his Christmas jumpers (what a shame I couldn't find a picture of one), however I do have a picture of Mr Plant getting involved with Den Day! Children were both intrigued and captivated by Mr Plant as he walked around the playground as a cardboard robot!
Colin should have put me in the recycling bin after Den Day - what a mess we all created! I hadn't predicted the unbelievable amount of time it would take to clear up, on what was a very hot summers day. Along with a few dedicated members of the PTA we started collecting together the cardboard, picking sticky tape from the floor etc and unsurprisingly, despite all the other jobs he had to do Colin kept coming out with empty bins for me. I maxed out his recycling bins for the next month but he didn't get cross
