Dear Daniel, today (2025 10th Jan) as I was exploring and learning more about GraphRAG and how how it is close to the Knowledge Graphs we built together in Dentsu GDIC, I wanted to add you on LinkedIn and discuss. Your LinkedIn Profile page was in memory of you, and I was led here to leave a message. Today it has been raining non-stop since morning till evening - a sad day for me indeed. I did not realize you had passed in 2020, just 1 year or less since we left GDIC. It is a pity that we can no longer discuss Graphs together. Thank you for trusting me in the KG implementation for INFINITY although back then I had not worked on graphs at all before, you trusted in my potential and sent me a book on graphs. Till today, the parallel KG construction in K8s of Project INFINITY remains my most challenging technical achievement, and has opened many doors and been mentioned by me many times in my job interviews over the years. Thank you for believing in my potential, trusting in my work ethic (no micromanagement). I hope that GraphRAG concepts and Knowledge Graphs continue their upward trajectory in the world as all of us in GDIC know how fond you are of Knowledge Graphs. Rest in Peace and best wishes to your family ~
