We had a random conversation about how we need to be better at lifting each other. Less judgement and telling others what to do and more of encouraging, supporting and lifting each other. Since then I have really tried to live by that. My three oldest all received their patriarchal blessings from Uncle Brian and were tremendously affected by the experience. They knew he had prepared, they sensed his deep concern for them and knew he was speaking the words the Lord would have him speak. They were very personal and deeply spiritual moments that have left long lasting impressions. I am so grateful he was and is my uncle. With love and fond affection x
