Brendan is no more. What a loss! One of my earliest recollections of Brendan is that of Brendan teaching us project management on a course I attended as a registrar in the late 1990's. He was impressive, so knowledgeable and conveyed rather complex concepts in relatable ways. Fast forward a few years later, I will always remember fondly how supportive he was to me when as a recent graduate I was elected to the College of Public Health Medicine Council - He was president of the College at the time. He was kind, allayed my anxieties and helped me feel like I deserved my seat at the table. what a great man! May his soul rest in eternal peace.
