The management, staff and tutors of Acadamh Ceoil Chaoimhín Uí Dhochartaigh in Derry are deeply saddened at the loss of Brendan Doherty from our musical family. Brendan, like the wider Doherty family, shared a love of music, a love that he was passing to his children Aodhán and Eden, who attended music classes and musical activities with the Acadamh. Brendan, mild mannered and unassuming, made a huge contribution to Acadamh Ceoil and his presence will be sorely missed.
