Death is one of the hardest things to deal with but the Bible gives us a wonderful hope for our dead loved ones. It says at John 5:28,29..."for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." This will be a wonderful time because we will see our dead loved ones again when Jesus resurrects them back to life.

It’s hard for me to write these words. I was first introduced to Brad when we were both at College in Bellingham. The one thing about him you immediately saw was that he was a very friendly and social person. He had an infectious laugh that was hilarious. We both enjoyed skiing and he was great skier as well. Along the way in life we were able to work very closely together. Our days together at Selene provided me opportunities that only he opened up for me. We both learned from each other in those days. I remember going to China for my very first time. He specifically came along with me as my wing-man. As a result I felt much more comfortable and as it turned out safer that he had my back. That was what it was like with him. Anyway he could, he showed that he cared. I must say as I personally experienced he was also one of the hardest working guys in the industry. Brad was always trying to prove himself and be a great provider for his family which he cared very much about. He had a passion for what he did. When he worked he was fearless. No challenge seemed unsurmountable with Brad. I too will miss Bradley.

Brad was the very first person I met when I started my marine career in 2002... he was my "booth next-door neighbor" at Boats Afloat that January. What a great "representative" of all the professionals in the marine industry in the Pacific Northwest. First, I got a education on marine electronics from him. And then over the past several years, Brad and I worked on boat deals together. What an upbeat and enjoyable man to be around and to laugh with. We shared many a good time at Chandler's Cove which helped make my lengthy stays in Seattle representing Bellingham's San Juan Sailing & Yachting at the show a real pleasure! He'll be missed a lot by me, even though I only spent a week-and-a-half (in person) with him each year. My heart-felt condolences to his wife, Evelyn, and to all of Brad's many good friends in the Seattle area who are feeling this huge loss right now.

Brad and i worked together for many years. we became more like brothers, a squabble here a laugh there and always loyal friends. He was one of the most knowledgeable boat guys i have ever known but much more. Always with a smile and eager to help. We had many great adventures, trips to China, boating up the inside passage as he kept putting Furthur together along the way, and front row seats for the Rolling Stones. Some crazy times too, taking the first 57 Selene off the ship and thru the locks with no gear controls- me on the bridge and Brad stattleing the transmission with walkie talkies, forward, no reverse reeverse!! and we made it. I will think of Brad often. he memories are everywhere on Furthur, so he will always be with us on our adventures.

I worked with Brad for many years in the yachting industry. He was always sweet and kind, and it was important to him to do his deals the right way, the ethical way, and to help his customers throughout the transaction. He was a good and honorable man. He will be missed.

Brad was my first friend in Seattle. He was always an open book, willing to share his wealth of boating knowledge, be a helping hand. He was gregarious, funny, and loved what he did. When I first lived here and had no family nearby, he and Evelyn and the rest of his family opened up their home to me for Christmases, Thanksgiving and birthdays. I will miss Brad as a friend and colleague.

I wish there was some way to take away the pain, and we would love to show our support in any way possible. We will of course give you time to grieve, but please, PLEASE let us know if there is anything at all that we can do to lessen the load for each and every one of you.
