As I convey my condolences to the family of our Bishop and the flock which was under his care, I wish to eulogize Bishop Gakuo as a humble servant who freely shared the pullpit with others in an effort to mentor them. He gave us the liberty to exercise our gifts in the Lord's vineyard. His ease of interaction with the whole spectrum of the congregation was amazing too. No member felt intimidated by him, a great virtue for a shepherd.
Bishop Rest In Peace!
