To all Bill’s friends and particularly his family, I only met Bill once, which is when I bought the orange hot rod off him (which I still have and love!) He was so kind and patient in teaching me how to drive it - no easy thing given I’d never driven anything like that before and it has a slightly weird clutch. We laughed a lot about how many times I stalled it and I’ll never forget his face when I tried to pull out at a T-junction and it was actually in reverse not 1st! I loved hearing all his stories about the fantastic cars he’s owned over the years. I’m so sorry for your loss, even from meeting him just that once, I could tell what special person he was and how much joy and happiness he must have brought to those fortunate enough to know him.
