It's hard to forget someone who gave you so much to remember. It is with a heavy heart that we announce the sad demise of a remarkable person. Gone but never forgotten.

The Family, If there is any loss that has impacted me being in Ghana this is the second one. This is a long one because there is so much to say about him. Uncle had this amazing aura and light around him. His deep set eyes and flashy smile would always grab you. I remember twice bumping into each other at our medical checks in Mumbai and his hearty laugh and humour (he had a good one) would put one at ease. I have tried to decipher why this loss has hit me and it dawned upon me that he never belonged to one but to everyone. As much as he had a family of his own, his scent touched everyone to bring a beautiful fragrance to form a community of people who felt alive with a can do attitude. I thought again and it hit me because I saw the unconditional and fierce love he had for family. His apple of his eyes: Rani and Sonya. A man gifted with two daughters who always had a hand cupped behind his back. I can’t get the image out of the December stage father daughter duo singing hoto se chulo tum and at that point thinking what a moment of love. How he always walked side by side with his wife, never a step back or forward. A true gentleman. The more I thought of the why,,it hit me it was also for the friendships he had built and embraced over years. Again the image of him and his ‘boys’ holding hands at the event and being naughty as they walked out together flashes. I remember saying that night ‘let uncle enjoy, this is his moment’.
