As her Religious Studies teacher all the way up to A level, I have many fond memories of an intelligent, curious, funny young woman who didn't always prioritise her academic endeavours, but with her wonderful smile, always managed to pull it out of the bag! She kept in touch and was so proud of her beautiful Bella. She was so kind and supportive when I was going through a tough time in my personal life. I will never forget my beautiful, much -loved friend.
I thought Bella might like to read her Mum's leavers report:
Summer 2005 Rebecca Louise Jones U6P
There are many positive things to say about Rebecca and her time at Bablake. She is an engaging character, very popular within the Sixth Form and with good social skills. She has contributed to a range of extra-curricular activity, particularly to do with Drama, but also including fund raising for charity.
The positive responses she has had from universities should encourage Rebecca, as she now has a range of options. She has been a very positive member of the form, demonstrating individuality and real character. She deserves to do well and hope that she stays in touch.
Dave Prescott - her form tutor
Rebecca has made enormous progress in the Sixth Form and now has the academic skills, together with good social skills needed to go on to university or the job market and be a success. I wish her well.
Jim Burns - her Head of Sixth Form
Rebecca is a talented young woman, and she leaves with my thanks for all her contributions to school life and best wishes for a happy and successful future.
Dr Stuart Nuttall - her Headmaster.
We all loved her and may she rest in peace.
