It is with a heavy heart I have to write this tribute on my very good friend and confidant-- Anthony Oluyele Akinyemi. Words would not be enough to descrbe how painful the demise of Tony is. It is with great shock and grief I received this very very sad news. Tonee as most of us in Lagos used to call him was an amiable, unassuming, easy going and very friendly gentleman who could not hurt a fly. Tony was a generous human being who was prepared at all times to assist his friends in all ways. A dependable and reliable ally in whose house 52 Modupe Ayoade Street, Iyana Ipaja Lagos ,the idea of forming SJC77 was muted several years ago. Tony Akinyemi served as the General Secretary of the Association then for several years until he relocated to London with his family. Tony gave everything at his disposal to ensure that the Association took off on a smooth and good note. One of the pioneering members who was prompt and dutify. We, your friends will surely miss you. May the Lord grant the family and friends the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss. Rest in the bossom of your creator. O daaro my Tonee!!!
