I have so many great memories of Anoushka that started in the 90's. Originally Anoushka cured chronic back pain I'd had for about 5 years at that point, someone told me she offered Pilot's training and somehow it could help. That sounded strange but I was desperate. If that was all she'd managed to do I'd be forever grateful but we got close and lived together for a while. One of the many memories I treasure is her commitment to animal welfare, feeding kittens that were struggling, puppies that were starving in India and eventually feeding a skinny little ginger kitten that climbed through our basement window. That cat became Skippy and proved to be a joy and delight for many years after. Anoushka could be a tad stubborn and also an absolute joy and delight. I was always glad her life turned out so well. That said, I'm still horrified that she died so early and I will always miss her.

A Teacher's Training moment with the "PIM Family" - 2018 I loved Pilates years before I met Her, but she made me believe in it. An amazing journey to Ithaka and beyond. But still not enough... Thank you dearest mentor, friend, beautiful person. Missing you ❤

I first met Anoushka in the late '80's and she was subsequently absolutely part of the fabric of my Pilates career and life for the following 3 decades. A committed, passionate teacher and trainer, Anoushka was also a fun-loving soul who was always ready to jump onto the dance floor &, as the photos here show, in the centre of everything, laughing her head off! My fondest memories all involve parties and social get-togethers - who could forget her & MIke's famous wig party for example?! The loss to the Pilates community, of which she was such a vital part, is immense, but my family will also miss her sense of mischief & just how much fun she was to be around. Rest in peace, dear Anoushka.

In Bruges, Middelkerke and London during the eighties, Anoushka (Ann) was one of my dearest friends and played an important role in becoming who I am today. I did, do and will always carry her in my heart, and remember her energy, kindness, friendship and trust she radiated every time I met her.

Anoushka has been at the heart of The Life Centre community for over 25 years - she has seen us evolve and change and was always there to encourage and support us. As a teacher she rightly earned a dedicated following for her knowledge, insights and compassion. I personally have so many happy memories of her that I shall treasure. The Life Centre, Notting Hill, London .

A truly beautiful and radiant soul who profoundly touched everyone who knew her. I am so blessed to have had her by my side for the last 20 years, and know that she remains there in spirit. Her presence is everywhere, and especially in the messages from so many who knew her light and magic.
