Andrew Moss

July 24, 1948 - September 6, 2020

It's with great sorrow that we inform you of the passing of our beloved father and husband, Andrew Moss, at the age of 72. His passing has left a big void in our lives and he will be sorely missed. We are very grateful for all the kind messages we have already started receiving, they mean a lot to us. Seeing as many of those who knew him are now spread out across the world, we wanted to find a way to capture any memories, stories, thoughts or words that anyone wanted to share. He was a wise, kind, thoughtful, witty, eccentric, mischievous and sensitive soul. Being a teacher was without any doubt his life's purpose which brought him immense pride and joy. He was also a wonderful father, brother, uncle, husband and friend in too many ways to mention. We are grateful to have been a part of his journey and are very proud of what he achieved, and everything he did to encourage and inspire the generations of children that he taught. To quote him in his own words... "What a weird and wonderful life it has been"...

Shocked, we received the sad news yesterday. Andrew and Jacky were our back neighbors in France, leobard, for many years. we became good friends. Andrew was a special person, of which there is only one. We'll miss him. Our condolences to family and friends and especially to Jacky, Clare and Cassy. Rest in peace old friend. Jan & Maria.

You were such wonderful neighbours and friends to my dad (and Jax!) these last few years in France. He thought very highly of you and enjoyed your company immensely. The Christmas some years back was an evening filled with such hilarity. Cass x

How lovely to hear from you. Thank you for being there for him & Jackie over the years, and especially all the help you gave them with the move. It was a comfort for us to know they had such good friends nearby. Hope to see you in London sometime! Clare
