I remember Alero's warm smile, she was always eager to speak the Tiv dialect with me and I would blush in response because she spoke better than me. I didn't know she wasn't Tiv till I visited her Dad in the hospital then. I remember a strong woman and very generous too. Those days when she cared for her Dad while we prayed for his recovery. I don't know how she did it but I admired her courage, strength & generosity. I was so sad when I learned she was ill and I prayed fervently for her healing. I missed seeing her around. Nonetheless, I thank God that though her life was brief she lived well. She cared and loved people genuinely. Alero's memory is forever blessed. Fare thee well Sister Alero till we meet again.
