Arc. Akanni was a wise mentor and a great man. Fresh out of university, he gave me my first ever professional training at ECAD Architects were he served as my mentor. He was a strong yet patient leader and a fair boss who always found ways to inspire those he worked with. It is truly a shock to hear of his passing and one can only imagine the grief shared by his family. However, I must remind myself that God has a reason for calling him home.
Mr B you legacy will never be forgotten and you will live on in our memory as a great mentor, colleague and friend. My sincere thoughts and prayers go out to the Akanni family in this trying time.
