Dad was the rock of the family, the brains of the bunch. Always in the know and always on hand to help and support. He had a no-nonsense approach to life and was an incredibly generous individual. After a horrible fight with Covid he has left this earth and is smiling down from heaven at us all. We are all so heart broken Dad, but we will persevere and get through this together. Rest in peace. Love you.

I will cherish the memories of Chris during our Tea Planters Tour in India in November 2018. We had such a lovely group of people which helped make the tour so enjoyable. This photo was taken of us at the rather fabulous Diphlu River Lodge in Assam where we went on safari in Kaziranga National Park. Such a kind hearted man who had clearly found his soul mate in Marigold xx

I just remember his smiles and his great sense of fun and humour. Such a really great chap, a real pleasure to have shared so many laughs. Gosh do we miss him. Huge love to all.

Here’s a picture of Josie and her ‘Bride oars’ as Chris called us. He managed a whole hour with all of us girls in a small boat and afterwards said to me, ‘Well...that was actually rather fun’!!!

Definitely a sad day. We were always guaranteed much generosity and laughs on every visit or even just a chat. Chris was a wealth to anyone he spent time with. Here is my favorite snap of him... https://photos.app.goo.gl/4tqV3QXwpDV83FmQ6
