Dr. Charles Muthamia Murungi, A colleauge, a friend, a husband, a father, an academician, a hotelier, a mountaineer, a humanitarian….ooooh a lot more and we can’t say it all but a charming and wonderful human being has left us abruptly. Dr. Charles has left behind an amazing wife (Edith) and 3 awesome Children in Tunu, Nia and Safari who are all currently in school. We as friends will keep all the good memories in our hearts and step up to support your family left behind when needed. Rest in peace, dear friend.

    We could spend hours talking about small scale farming in Kenya and Embu. Charles was passionate about his farm and he was currently preparing for Chillie harvesting. An academic and a humanitarian, but also a man with blessed Green fingers.

    Dear Charles! We became close friends and the sad news about your passing hit me hard. You were the kindest of kindest and always concerned about the well-being of others. I will miss you dearly but keep all the good memories close to my heart. Be assured that we are many friends who will look after Edith and the kids to make sure they get through this as best as they can. Rest in peace, my dear friend. Anders
