Zita Fernandes

April 27, 1955 - August 2, 2021

Dedicated Daughter to Regina Rosaria Fernandes & Late Anthony Santana Fernandes; Loving Mother to Priscilla Patwa & Barian Shah & Wife of Suresh Shah; Beloved Grandma to Suhail Patwa & Julian Shah & Mother-in-law to Jewel Torres Shah & Fayaz Patwa. As painful as this is, Zita would want us to continue to live, laugh, and love, which was her life’s motto. No one loved & lived life more than she did. She would want us to lift each other up and remain strong & united in these hard times. Let us remember Zita for her vibrant soul and keep in mind that she often said "Keep the family chain strong" & make her proud. Let us remember her for the joy she shared to everyones lives, and pray with her now that she is with the Lord Almighty. Her work here on Earth is done. We will deeply miss her.

My heartfelt condolences to the whole family. I only had the opportunity to meet her once but she was the kindest sweetest soul in that one hour and a bit that was spent conversing with her. I pray the Almighty rest her soul in eternal peace. I believe her spirit will live on with her family and all the lives she touched. Rest easy, Zita. And to the family, I pray the Almighty give you the patience and strength to navigate through these very difficult times.
