Yasho Wardhan Sarda

October 28, 1952 - June 28, 2020

Dearest all, We wish to inform of the merging of Syt. Yasho Wardhan Sarda's soul with the almighty Brahman on 28 June 2020. Over the last few days we have been humbled by the condolence wishes, messages and texts. Your words have meant a lot to us as we mourn Yasho's loss. Yasho touched the lives of many during his lifetime in Zambia, India and beyond as a wonderful son, brother, father, grandfather and friend. He was a wonderful man, who loved his family deeply and he always had a remarkable quality of making people comfortable around him, while sharing his ideas and wisdom about the world. Yasho is now in a peaceful place and, in his memory, we would like to create a memoir book that can be kept by his immediate family members, including his mother, wife and two sons. We will be delighted and hugely grateful if you can share your lovely memories and photos with Yasho here as we continue to celebrate his life. We wish to thank everyone for their constant prayers, wishes & support. Om Shanti

Dear Yasho bhaiya, Each time I met you, there was something to learn and laugh about too...seemed like the whole package had been passed from Puran Karan Tauji and Gyan Taiji to you. A great depth of knowledge on everything, the openness to share it, the acceptance of life with grace, the humility and the wit...the list can go on. But the one that has always stuck with me is the deep love and support for family...something that I have seen in the whole family imbibe. I remember you calmly sitting next to Tauji before his last journey and reading verses from the Gita I think it was. It was a beautiful sight of a son who was in love with his father but also calm and detached (in a spiritual sense) like one should be...an amazing balance. I don't know as much as you (may be in 3 janmas I will...fingers crossed! :-)) but I definitely know that those who live in the hearts of their loved ones, live forever and Yasho bhaiya...you truly are one of them. Lot's of love, Packet
