Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II was Queen of the United Kingdom from 6 February 1952 until her death on 8 September 2022. Her reign of 70 years and 214 days was the longest of any British monarch and the second-longest recorded of any monarch of a sovereign country.
Her connection to Wolfson College, Oxford goes all the way back to its beginning when Her Majesty arrived to lay the foundation stone at a ceremony on 2nd May 1968.
In devoted memory of her late Majesty Elizabeth II. She was an example to us all. May she rest in peace.
